The origins of the things we eat, use or wear are of interest to many of us. We want to know where it was grown, where and how it was created, or who made it. Behind the scenes or something that is not visible at first glance automatically raises questions. And we are happy to bring you the answers. After taking a look at the production of our jackets and suits , shirts and leather products, today we will take you through the production of our knitwear.
At the beginning of creation, there is inspiration. Our designer draws inspiration from everything around him – on the streets, in the media, but especially at foreign fairs and exhibitions that he visits. One of his favorites is Pitti Uomo in Florence, but he also likes to go to the Panorama Berlin fair or Première Vision in Paris. Although he selects high-quality materials for our trousers there, he takes the collection as a whole and always tries to design it in such a way that you can combine the individual pieces together.
We also look at the color of the yarns and their combination. In the warmer months we reach for lighter colors, while in the colder months we choose darker, earthier colors.

Quality materials
The quality yarns we use to knit our pullovers and sweaters are from Germany and have several certificates that guarantee that the resulting products are safe for people and the environment. When choosing yarn, we take into account which collection the pullover or sweater will be in - whether we need a lighter, airier one for spring and summer or a warmer and thicker one for autumn and winter.
Local production
The pullovers and sweaters we design are then knitted for us by a smaller family business in Slovakia with over 30 years of tradition. Our cooperation has been harmonious for years – often all we need to do is describe our idea in words and they will fulfill it for us in the form of a sample, which we then comment on and fine-tune to perfection. When choosing yarns, we already have an idea of the final product – whether it will be a crew neck or V-neck sweater, a turtleneck, whether it will have a collar or a button-up sweater, whether it will be solid color or have a pattern and other colors woven in. We always try to have a mix in the collection that everyone can choose from. Simpler pieces that are easy to combine with the rest of the collection, as well as more expressive sweaters that are the dominant feature of the resulting outfit.Care
High-quality materials and proper care are a guarantee of a long life for clothing. That is why the yarns from which we knit our pullovers and sweaters, in addition to cotton, wool and cashmere, also contain polyamide, lycra or acrylic. Thanks to them, the final product is more flexible, stronger and more durable. We also choose materials with regard to their easy maintenance. However, we always recommend following the care symbols and following them. Thanks to them, your clothes will look like new for a long time.

"The product design itself is based on seasonal trends in silhouettes, patterns and colors, which take into account the brand's signature. The geometrization of the pattern, lines and color fields were my starting point. I incorporated diamond and diagonal division of areas into the designs, which intersect lines in color variants. The color of the fields and lines is harmoniously repeated throughout the composition," says Terka about her design.
