Slovenská filharmónia - Vitajte vo svete vážnej hudby
What are your plans for the evening? A few drinks with colleagues? Or a quiet break at home? It's true that after a long day at work, it's all too tempting to wrap yourself in a blanket on the couch and turn on the regular supply of television entertainment. Culture is not a place we often resort to for relaxation. We associate it with effort. We have to perceive it, listen to it, think about it. But what if we tried to change this perspective and make culture the new trend in relaxation? The Slovak Philharmonic is the right place to start.

The Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra entered its sixty-sixth season this year, its seventh overall under the baton of legendary French conductor Emmanuel Villaum. Attending a concert at Reduta is becoming a hit on Thursday and Friday evenings. Just like the old Bratislavans for many years, young people are starting to find their way to the concert halls in the crowds.

SLOVAK PHILHARMONIC – WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF SENIOR MUSIC

There is a wide range of programs on offer, and within the regular concert cycles, everyone will find something to suit their taste. Do you want to spend an evening in the company of Brahms, Mahler, or Stravinsky? Choose the Music of Three Centuries cycle, which regularly takes you on a fascinating journey through the world of classical music. If you fancy something lighter, choose the Popular cycle, where you can lose yourself in the tones of the most famous works by Dvořák, Beethoven, Mozart, and many others.
