5 zázračných letných outfitov

One of the worries that summer regularly brings with it is the combination of the heat and that little social convention of dressing. Thirty-degree temperatures and adhering to the dress code often end in a sweaty and disheveled appearance.

At Alain Delon, we try to bring you a guide to solving men's life problems every month. This time, here are five outfits that will help you survive any heat wave.

Office space

There is a traditional fight for the air conditioning remote in the office. You are freezing at your desk and on the way to lunch you are boiling in your own juices. That is why our favorites are soft, thin materials, like these brown trousers, which, combined with a business shirt, will not embarrass you in front of any client. And in a frozen office, keep your dark blue jacket thrown over your head.

Friday evening

It's the end of the work week and your city is getting ready for a regular Friday night. Will you just go for a quick beer this time or will you stay up late celebrating the start of the weekend? If you choose navy jeans and a white shirt, nothing will surprise you. If you're brave, break up the classics with a bold jacket like this salmon one.

Garden Party

A garden party is any formal event that requires a suit. In most cases (wedding, corporate party, birthday party) you will find yourself outside in a garden, park, or on a restaurant terrace with a cold drink in hand. In our office, the love for a blue suit for formal evenings still prevails, but how about sweetening it up a bit with a pale blue in the summer?

Beach relaxation

If you're not lucky enough to live in a hotel right on the beach, or you want to go for a swim near your home, the problem arises of how to dress on the way there (and especially back, when your swimsuit is composed mostly of water). For these cases, we love linen shorts and polo shirts made of double mercerized cotton, which, due to their composition, make it look like you're wearing nothing. Ideal for very hot weather.

Urban tourism

Exploring the city in a vacation destination is a must-do on any trip. While Crocs and swim shorts are tempting, go for an alternative and avoid the outfit known as the "American tourist." Opt for a simple combination like this bold floral shirt with green shorts. The print on the shirt will complement plain, plain pants wonderfully. Throw a blue linen jacket over your shoulder in case you stay until dinner. Wear blue suede loafers and you're guaranteed not to get kicked out of any establishment for wearing shorts.
