Watch our video and read on - you'll find all the tips on how to confidently handle the prom dress code .
What to wear?
Suit
The basis is a dark suit . Black is a classic that you can never go wrong with. If you want to look more youthful and fresh, go for a dark blue or dark gray version .
Shirt
A white or light-colored shirt is a surefire choice. It looks clean, elegant, and adds a certain seriousness to the evening nature of the event.
Tie
Subtle, without flashy patterns. You can match the color to your suit or outfit details, but less is more. If a tie seems too old-fashioned to you, reach for a bow tie.
Shoes
Black leather and especially clean shoes are an important part of the outfit. Remember, brown shoes are only worn until 6:00 PM, and prom is an evening event.

What to avoid?
Sneakers - no matter how expensive or branded - do not belong at the prom.
A striking pattern – a tie with a wild pattern or other gimmick can do more harm than good.
Experiment - a prom dress is not a place for fashion provocations.
