Many of you are already our friends and we want to introduce your stories to others. Meet Vladimir, who found his way to formal wear thanks to ballroom dancing.
In addition to work and studies, his daily morning swim is a routine, and he also found a hobby in ballroom dancing. "Once I saw an advertisement somewhere for a basic ballroom dancing course. I took it as a challenge and started to enjoy it. I wanted to improve gradually, so I continued to the next levels of courses. Today, it is an evening routine for me. I have been attending the dance club for 8 years."
He feels more at home in standard dances, but he also likes the temperament of Latin American ones. Vladimir says that dancing clears his thoughts and is a perfect way to relax. In addition to relaxation, dancing has also brought him new horizons in social dressing.
"I'm more of a casual wear type - jeans, sweatshirts, sneakers, and I dress more comfortably for work. But when I started dancing, I had to dress in appropriate outfits for training - black pants, shirt, tie, or bow tie, vest, dance shoes. That was the alpha and omega. And I liked it so much that I can't even imagine dancing without it anymore."
"I take great care of my clothes. They are of high quality, they weren't cheap, and I want them to last a really long time in my wardrobe, so I take care of them. That's why I'm interested in the materials my clothes are made of, and I also learned a few practical tips about care in the Journal. I also really enjoy looking at the new items on offer, whether in person or in the e-shop."
Vladimír has always worked in the business and industrial sectors, where he still works today. He fulfilled his dream of university studies in his fifties because he couldn't find the time to do so. The pandemic helped him with that. "I'm studying economics and management. I'm just finishing my bachelor's degree and even though I don't have much time, I want to continue my studies."
But the course was just the beginning. Ever since Vladimír started dancing, he has also enjoyed attending various social events such as balls. Formal shirts and tuxedos have also been added to his wardrobe.
I'm used to wearing mainly the Alain Delon brand. I've had shirts in my closet for maybe ten years, and they're still in good condition. But I've been buying more regularly for about two years. Sportswear, home office fashion, but also the aforementioned casual pieces. Even though some items are more expensive, I appreciate their quality. And I feel really comfortable in them.
Vladimír currently most often visits our new store in the Nivy shopping center. He likes the location and the other shops and services he can find there.
